It has been long time since our previous meetup. And this this time we're prepared another awesome talk ( as usual :-) ) and great presenter, New Jerseyan - John D. Ament

It’s great to have a solid base of unit and integration tests; they give us confidence about the overall system integrity. But at the end of the day, it all amounts to whether our end users are happy using our application.
Tired of your QA team finding issues long after development is done for simple things you could have picked up quicker? Interested in ensuring that your application is very cross platform without any of the pain of manual deployment? Arquillian is a powerful tool to add to your arsenal for automated testing. This discussion will be a hands on approach for building and testing REST APIs using Arquillian, deploying across multiple platforms, and test it thoroughly. We will discuss tips for ensuring that you are building testable enterprise level code, learning the do's and don'ts and how to ensure that you are properly separating your code responsibilities.

Speaker's bio:John Ament is a software developer from New Jersey. He has been working in the enterprise Java realm for over eight years, working with telecom, retail and life sciences. He is an active member of the JCP, participating in the JMS expert group as well as an open source contributor with JBoss and Apache, currently working on Apache DeltaSpike. Currently he is focused on building dynamic Quality Management Systems with Sparta Systems, using Arquillian to improve the code quality of a new system. Having just written a book on Arquillian for Packt Publishing he's looking to have a little bit of R&R.
