Volunteer with Friends: Wapato Lake Restoration Work Party

Want to give back and hang out with friends? We're going to join a restoration work party at Wapato Lake to help beautify and maintain the restoration site at Wapato Lake Park. You won't need to sign up on their BetterImpact site, but if you want to volunteer with them regularly, you can create an account to have your hours logged. They offer free access to events (zoo & aquarium tickets, Community center memberships, etc) and discounts on rentals once volunteers log 24 hours with them!

• All ages and abilities are welcome!
• Tools and Training will be provided.
• Please plan to meet near the dog park entrance at 9:00 a.m.
• Restrooms are available at the park.
• What To Bring: Leather gloves if you have them, water bottle, and a snack.
• What To Wear: Sturdy, closed-toed shoes or boots. Long pants and long sleeves. Dress for the Weather.
• Work Party will take place Rain or Shine

**Volunteers under the age of 18 MUST have parents sign them in when arriving**
