Paddleboarding + Drinks Tradition

Every year, our group greets the summer Tacoma lakes with paddleboards and reminder to reconnect with local nature.

This is our third year continuing this tradition. If you're new, this is perfect setting to slow down and enjoy the water and people. If you're 253 alumni, it's a relaxing event to enjoy people, drinks and nature.

(come down close to the beach so you park close and don't have to carry your paddleboard too far from the beach)

Bar: 5811 N 51st St, Ruston, WA 98407

Equipment: we welcome kayaks, canoes, tubes (with a paddle).

Rentals: Owen Beach Kayak Rentals provides kayaks along the water.

Our team will meet at the beach at 5:30 and will be near the beach until 6:15. We stat along the water until right before sunset. Afterwards, we get together and local pub to relax and enjoy drinks.

Bar + Drinks: after sunset, our group will head to Coles Bar & Grill, eight minutes from the beach.
