Beginning Astronomy Class - Covington Aquatic Center

Note: The room is small which is why there is a limit so please keep your RSVPs updated! More are welcome to come stargazing later! The fields are nearby and I created a separate event for this.

At 6pm over at the Covington Aquatics Center there will be a introductory class on astronomy led by Steve Case. If you are new to astronomy this is the class you want to go to. He gives an introduction to all things astronomy and telescopes.

The class ends in time for everyone to head over to the park soccer fields for the stargazing event. Experienced astronomer volunteers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS) bring their telescopes and binoculars to share with the public. Everyone is welcome including families with children.

The class will be held at the Covington Aquatic Center party room.
