Looking for a great way to kick off your weekend, get some steps in, and meet some awesome people? Whether you're an experienced pro looking to card some birdies or a first-timer who isn't quite sure what a "hyzer" is, come join us for some weekend disc golf shenanigans!

We are heading to the Pacific Lutheran University disc golf course this Saturday afternoon for a casual, fun-focused round. PLU offers a fantastic, beginner-friendly 9-hole course with a healthy mix of open shots and tricky trees to keep things interesting.

Never played before? Don't own any gear? Fret not--we have some extra discs! Let us know in the comments (or in your RSVP), so we know how many we need to bring.

What to bring:

  • Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers
  • A water bottle
  • Your own discs if you have them (but not required!)

Crucial parking info:
PLU strictly enforces permits in all their paved campus lots, even on Saturdays. To avold a ticket, please use the free street parking. You can find plenty of open street parking along the fence next to the disc golf course, and on the surrounding residential streets near the Columbia Center.

How to find us:
We will gather near the first tee box (look for the small information kiosk behind the Columbia Center) at 1:00 PM sharp. Look for the group holding a bunch of brightly-colored frisbees. We'll hand out discs, do quick introductions, and head out to play by 1:15 PM.

If you need to borrow a disc, please leave a quick comment below so we can make sure we bring enough extras for everyone!

Come try something new, enjoy the weekend, and laugh off the inevitable throws into the trees. See you on the course!
