Women Veterans Day event
Details
The Washington Dept of Veterans Affairs and the Women Veterans Advisory Committee are hosting their annual Women Veterans Celebration Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at William W. Phillip Hall in Tacoma.
This year's theme, A Salute to Sisterhood, centers on the unity and shared experiences of women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Attendees can expect a celebratory luncheon, opportunities for connection and fellowship and a program honoring women's contributions to military service across all branches and eras. The luncheon builds on the spirit of Women Veterans Day, observed each year on June 12 to mark the anniversary of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act of 1948.
Women Veterans, active-duty service members and community supporters are encouraged to come, and everyone is welcome.

This event is open to the community. Activities will not be led by a “Meetup host.”
