Sunset Paddle at American Lake

Come join us for a relaxed evening on the water! Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or trying it for the first time, you’re welcome here.

🕠 When: Meet at 5:30 PM

How the evening flows:

We’ll gather near the shore for the first 20–30 minutes while everyone assembles their boards and gets settled. Paddle boards and kayaks are both welcome! Once we’re ready, we’ll head out and enjoy the water together as the sun gets low.

Around 8:00–8:30 PM we’ll paddle back, pack up, and head over to keep the good vibes going at the Steilacoom Pub & Grill (1202 Rainier St, Steilacoom, WA 98388) to wind down with food, drinks, and friends. 🍻

⚠️ A quick safety note: Life jackets are essential — please bring and wear one. By attending, you acknowledge that the group and organizers are not liable for your safety or any equipment you bring. There are no lifeguards or first-aid certifiers at this event, so each person is their own safety advocate and responsible for their own wellbeing on the water.
