When NEUROSCIENCE Meets OD: Implications, Opportunities and Applications

Neuroscience is here, and it’s not going anywhere. Luckily, we can help you navigate this new and exciting technology in the field of OD.

We will explore five major breakthroughs in Applied Neuroscience (ANS), discuss the ANS implications for our work and analyze some of our “go-to” methods, models, activities and/or practices through a Neuroscience lens.

The ANS frameworks we will focus on:

> Self-directed Neuroplasticity as it relates to training design

> The Default Mode Network’ s inherent negativity bias as it relates to managing group mood

> Our Willpower Instinct as it relates to creating vision and maintaining passion

> Emotional Contagion as it relates to group formation

> Attachment Theory as it relates to building teams and fostering community.
