The Good, the Bad and the Weird of Xamarin - Developing cross-platform apps

Details
This will be the first in the series of Xamarin related lectures concerning development of applications running natively on various mobile platforms, predominantly Android and iOS, but also touching upon the nuances of development for UWP (Universal Windows Platform) and wearable platforms including Tizen.
The lecture will be tailored for the range of all audiences, starting off with the Xamarin development basics suitable for a newbie just stating out and progressing towards more advanced topics intended for a seasoned Xamarin professional.
The amounts of which of the two we will cover more will mostly depend on displayed audience interests.
All in all, we will be covering both the good and the bad of using Xamarin framework and associated techniques for making a mobile application that can be run across multiple mobile platforms with as much of code reuse as possible, as well as some plain old weird behavior shown of by the Xamarin framework tools occurring whilst using it for the odd pair number of years...
Join us for a light open discussion on how to continue by getting better at creating a beneficial meetup for all members with some drinks afterwards.
