NetSquared Meetup: Extreme Makeover GoodSpeaks

NetSquared DC returns to its popular Extreme Makeover format in February, featuring GoodSpeaks. At our Extreme Makeovers, we help an organization solve a pressing web site or online strategy problem, with an audience full of web strategists, nonprofit tech gurus, and people who want to see good people and good causes reach more people.

The GoodSpeaks project is a new community-based nonprofit video news forum and distribution network. GoodSpeaks' vision is to link brief, compelling and actionable videos from nonprofit organizations contextually to news stories on other news and social media sites about crises, disasters, and environmental and societal problems, so that someone reading or viewing "bad" news on another site will have the option to view contextually-linked videos from nonprofit organizations (featured on GoodSpeaks) that are making things better and click on the videos to support them.

We have the rough draft of our design, and we'd love your ideas and input to improve it to benefit the nonprofits we hope to serve and to attract partner media content providers.
