📣🍽️ Olá a todos! We are doing something different for October and featuring Sri Lankan cuisine. It's probably best described as Indian subcontinent meets Southeast Asian ingredients.

You may have experienced Indian cuisines and Nepali momos in Lisbon. Sri Lankan cuisine is somewhat unheard in this part of the world and this will be an evening of sharing stories behind dishes served and tantalise your taste buds with a cacophony of flavours!
🍲🌿 Here's the menu of the mouthwatering dishes you can expect:

  1. Fish croquettes (Also known as cutlets, this starter snack is a popular street food dipped with dill sambol)
  2. Curry leaf rava dosa (This dosa is part of Sri Lankan Muslim street food. Served freshly hot off the press with tempered curry leaves and roasted sesame sambol dip.)
  3. Black pork belly curry (Earthy spice mix, no coconut milk used, this is one of Sri Lanka's most famous dishes. This curry recipe with Portuguese black pork are a winning combination. Served with rice)
  4. Daikon, mint and carrot sambol (Fresh, citrusy, summery sambol with fresh, bright and crunchy taste.)
  5. Jaggery mess with coconut and cardamon (Delightful, crunchy pile of sweetness meringue with coconut, jaggery syrup with cardamom hint.)
