http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/8/0/4/0/event_271592832.jpegLike many Netsquared groups around the country, Net2Chi is joining the "Social Media September" movement, focusing on how non-profits, community organizations, social entrepreneurs, and other change agents can use social media to engage their constituents.
At Net2Chi, we're going one better - we're focusing on social media strategy, but we're doing things different.
Since evenings can be busy, we're holding a lunch and learn. We're also holding it at a great venue, and we're celebrating the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who.
We'll be presenting on social media strategy - knowing how to identify your audience, selecting the right tools and message, and establishing measurement and metrics - through the prism of the classic British science fiction series. (If you've attended a previous Net2Chi focusing on Sherlock Holmes and social media, you'll have a great idea of what we're talking about).
Whether you're a small to mid-size non-profit, a social venture developing your marketing strategy, or a community organization wondering how to start, this is a great opportunity for you. With Social Media Week coming in late September, this is a good way to get a head-start on learning how to make an impact. You'll gain insights, resources, and most importantly - information.
In short, this is one presentation which will be bigger on the inside. Please join us, and feel free to invite your colleagues - this is one Net2Chi session you really don't want to miss!
(Please note - although the event is free to attend, you are responsible for your own food, tax, and gratuity....and you are more than welcome to brown bag as well)
