Details
Welcome to Oracle Developers NYC's July 2018 meetup! Here's a look at the agenda...
Marc Sewtz - Oracle APEX 18.1 Social Sign-In
Oracle APEX 18.1 was released on May 24th. This release introduces a new native authentication scheme, Social Sign-In. Developers can now easily create APEX applications which can use Oracle Identity Cloud Service, Google, Facebook, generic OpenID Connect and generic OAuth2 as the authentication method, all with no coding. Learn on to make use of Social Sign-In for your own APEX applications.
Dan McGhan - JSON Capabilities in Oracle Database 12c
JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) is a lightweight data-interchange format that is both easy to use and very flexible. Because of its simplicity, more and more developers are choosing JSON over other data formats for a variety of tasks. But do developers need to use a JSON document-only database to work with JSON? Of course not! Oracle Database is now action packed with features for storing, processing, analyzing, and generating JSON data. This session starts with an overview of what JSON is and how it can be useful and then introduces attendees to the Oracle Database 12c features that make it easy to work with JSON in the database.
Note: You must RSVP for this event and seats are limited. Please RSVP with your full name and bring matching ID for security. Please do not RSVP if you are unsure that you will be able to attend.
