"Sharing a common culture" is a nonsense idea in 2017

Topic: "There are so many competing sources of information and distraction now that the idea of a “common culture” is nonsense.". In the meetup we will first work together to figure out 10 questions whose answers can throw some light on this topic. Then we will discuss (and probably disagree about!) what it all might mean. The aim is to foster your talent for asking interesting questions, then have a pleasant discussion based on them.
