The Online Meditation Course is a guided meditation that you can practice on a daily basis. Everyone is welcome, beginners and long time practitioners. This meditation course is a wonderful and rejuvenating experience.
The kind of meditation that you will learn is called mantra meditation. Mantra meditation has been in practice since time immemorial, and is the recommended type of meditation for the time and age that we live in. It is easy and practical.
Mantras are used in the meditation. Mantras are transcendental sound vibrations and they have a purifying effect on the heart and mind. You will feel calm and rested at the end of the meditation. We encourage that you practice regularly and experience the benefits of hearing and chanting sacred mantras.
The online meditation course is divided into three parts: Gauranga breathing meditation, japa meditation and kirtan (music meditation).
10:49 minutes of Gauranga breathing meditation
9:49 minutes of Japa meditation (1 round - 54 mantras)
14:15 minutes of Aum-Hari-Aum kirtan meditation (music)
For japa meditation, we use a japa mala, a string of beads. A japa mala is usually 108 beads. For the online course, we use 54 beads to practice. Japa malas are available for purchase in some online stores. You can also find them in stores that sell religious paraphernalia, or in specialty boutiques. If you don't have any, you can simply listen.
