Lets Meetup and build web and mobile apps using a low code approach

Details
Learn how to design and develop software fast and with minimal hand-coding using low-code tooling. Low Code is an enabler for agile development, where developers can use Low Code tooling to be able to deliver quality MVP's faster. Low Code is not a threat to experienced developers; it enables teams of developers to produce more value faster - drawing on their core development skills and understanding on how to develop and maintain quality applications. Experienced developers can get to the code level and develop components that can be leveraged by other team members.
This is primarily a hands-on session, where we will introduce low code development using Oracle Autonomous Visual Builder, and provide hands-on labs where you will build two simple apps, one for mobile and one for web. The resulting code is based on Oracle Jet; an open source toolkit based on HTML5, JavaScript jQuery, Knockout, RequireJS and Cordova. Data is accessed through OpenAPI (Swagger) based REST services.
We will also discuss why Low Code frameworks are getting more and more popular and why Low Code development is becoming relevant for the developer community in general.
Agenda:
- Welcome
- What is Low Code development and why is it relevant?
- Short introduction to low code development using Oracle Autonomous Visual Builder Cloud Service
- Hands-on lab using Visual Builder
- create a simple web application
- create a simple mobile application
In order to be able to perform the labs we suggest to view the following short video that describes the basic principles of Oracle Autonomous Visual Builder - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/app-builder-cloud/product-tour/index.html
