Who is Tim Ray?

Tim Ray is a serial entrepreneur from the Toronto area with a passion for creating cool brands and innovative business models. He is the Founder and CEO of Carnivore Club, the premium subscription service for foodies who love charcuterie. He is also the founder of Broquet.co, a site with awesome curated gift crates for men. He has appeared on Dragon’s Den … twice.

After the sale of his first e-commerce venture (FoodScrooge.com) for seven figures in only 10 months, Tim Ray and his partner Matthew Cloutier founded Carnivore Club (2013), a subscription service that curates a monthly box of gourmet cured meats.

They validated interest with an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign and later used a series of funny and somewhat edgy video campaigns to grow awareness.

From there, they’ve used their no-holds-barred humor to build new goofy videos, fake (but functional) websites, and out-of-the box marketing campaigns to grow Carnivore Club to 7 figures in 18 months.

In this talk, Tim will share his story of how he grew Carnivore Club and the unique marketing lessons he has learned along the way.
