Leave Alone What Is Irrelevant (Conference Call)

We will discuss the following verses:

Sura 17 Aya 36

And do not concern yourself with anything of which you have no knowledge: verily, the use of your hearing, your seeing and the feelings in your heart—all of them will be questioned.

Everything we accomplish is by using our God-given faculties of seeing, hearing, thinking, speaking and feeling. Some people use them to create something of value, while others waste this resource.
This aya advises us not to squander our faculties. Out attention is attracted to a whole lot of things, most of which we know little about and which have no use for us. Spend your time and energy in achieving a positive purpose. Leave alone what is irrelevant.
There are so many things we can talk about and there are so many ways we can spend our time. Successful people focus their energies on achieving their goals. Their attention is not available to wander to miscellaneous attractions around them.
