Sura 14 Aya 7: (In Person Meetup)

Salam,

It has been a while since we held an in-person meetup. Inshallah we are planning to get together at Islamic Center of Vermont to discuss a beautiful chapter from Dr. Sultan Abdulhameed's book "The Quran and the Life of Excellence".

We will discuss Sura 14 Aya 7 which is about Gratitude:

And your Lord had the proclamation made “If you are grateful I will give you more, but if you are ungrateful, My punishment is severe indeed”

The secret to a life of abundance is taught in this aya, abundance of not only material well being but also of fulfillment in all areas of life, in loving relationships, in health, in creativity and abundance of meaningful and productive work. Those who can adjust their thinking to always feel grateful flourish.

Barriers to gratitude will be discussed in our meeting and how they can be dissolved, so we can benefit from the wisdom of this aya even in the most trying circumstances.
