Discussion on Zakah (Charity)

Salam,

Brother Muhammad has volunteered to present on the topic of Zakah. Zakah has been mentioned in Quran many times and we would like to discuss details on Zakah e.g how much zakah, who needs to pay, who is eligible to receive.

This will allow us to understand technicalities related to Zakah and fulfill our duties correctly.

[21:73] "We made them (Abraham and his sons) imams who guided in accordance with our commandments, and we taught them how to work righteousness, and how to observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and the obligatory charity (Zakat). To us, they were devoted worshipers."
