We'd like to kick off the year with a look at the top 3 template frameworks for Joomla.
The point of a framework is to help speed up the design and development of custom website either by customising the base framework or building upon it. The frameworks come bundles with features such as mega menus, optimisation and template compression, responsive frameworks and much more.
Come along and learn about some of the most popular templating frameworks out there for Joomla at the moment.
Learn how you can use a framework to produce your own templates for sale, for your own website or for your customers.
This meetup is suitable for beginners and advanced users.
T3 (by JoomlaArt) - Presented by Peter Bui
The T3 framework is an open source framework originally developed by Joomlart from Vietnam. It sits on top of Joomla integrating in Bootstrap V3, FontAwesome and much more.
Many template clubs use T3 including, JoomlaBamboo, Joomlart, Bang2Joom as well as many design and development agencies around the world. Learning T3 will allow you to customise any of the templates that template providers produce. Quite handy to know!
Warp (by YooTheme) - Presented by Eng Ung

Warp is an amazing template framework produce by the team from YooTheme in Germany. Packed with many great features that can give your templates many bells and whistles.
It is one of the only template frameworks that can be transported from Joomla to WordPress and vice versa. Perfect framework if you sway both ways.
Gantry (by RocketTheme) - TBA

One of the older template frameworks packed with lots and lots of features. Works again with both Joomla and WordPress like Warp. Gantry is more suited for people that want to customise the base template just by clicking a few switches.
Also flexible with the ability to customise the code.
As usual we will talk about the topic in the first half, have a Pizza and Beer break, then have a general Q&A session.
