Potluck in the Park

Join Four Corners Vegans for our very first event!

Come meet new friends and share a potluck meal in beautiful Parque de Vida in Cortez. This is a casual, fun meetup event - 100% free and open to all.

We'll meet up at the Amphitheater behind the Rec Center at 1pm, Saturday, August 26th. I plan on the event lasting a couple hours, but you're free to stop by for however long you wish.

What to bring:

• A vegan dish with serving utensil. If you prefer not to cook, store-bought drinks or simple snacks like fruit or hummus trays are also appreciated.
• Your own utensils (plate, fork, knife, etc). A place-mat would also be a good idea if you don't want to set your plate directly on the picnic table. Towels/napkins are also a good bet!
• Friends or relations who may be interested.

ALL are welcome, whether you're vegan or not. Please make sure any food you bring is 100% vegan (no eggs, dairy, meat, honey, gelatin, or animal-based broth).

Blank cards will be provided at the event so that you can write down ingredients and any allergens that might be present in the food. You can bring your own ingredient card if you want.

IMPORTANT: This event will be held at the amphitheater in Parque de Vida, but it's possible that someone will make a last minute reservation or take up the space before we can arrive. If that happens, the location will be switched to the East Playground, also in Parque de Vida. I will have a sign set up at the location of the potluck, so if you don't see it at the amphitheater, head over to the East Playground Picnic Shelter - the tan/green playground to the northeast of the amphitheater. If you cross the road, you've gone too far! Both spaces have great shelters and plenty picnic tables. If we're unlucky enough that that space is ALSO taken, we'll have a picnic potluck on the grass under the trees between the two spaces.
