First Warsaw Apache Airflow Workshop

We offer a hands-on workshop accompanying the "What's coming in Apache Airflow 2.0" talk (https://pydata.org/warsaw2019/schedule/presentation/15/whats-coming-apache-airflow-20/) at PyData Warsaw (https://pydata.org/warsaw2019/) given by Jarek Potiuk, Principal Software Engineer at Polidea, Committer and PMC Member of Apache Airflow.

The workshop is for those who want to familiarize themselves with using the super-productive 'Breeze' development environment to contribute to Airflow. It's a great, stress-free opportunity to dive into the world of open source development and contribution.

The session will be geared towards Mac and Linux users, but Windows users are more than welcome to join. You need to have Python experience. In preparation for the class, please make sure you have set up the following prerequisites:

• Bring Your Own Laptop
• make a fork of the https://github.com/apache/airflow
• clone the forked repository locally
• follow the prerequisites: https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/master/BREEZE.rst#prerequisites
• run `./breeze --python 3.6`
• create a virtualenv as described in https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/master/LOCAL_VIRTUALENV.rst
• initialize the virtualenv with `./breeze --initialize-local-virtualenv`
• sign-up for an Apache JIRA account: https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/AIRFLOW/issues

The class will be conducted by Jarek Potiuk, Tomasz Urbaszek and Tobiasz Kędzierski, software engineers at Polidea and Apache Airflow contributors and committers. The capacity is about 30* workstations, but more attendees are welcome, if they agree to work in pairs.
