First Virtual Dinner Party Meetup

Guests joining the party enter into the reception area where the host will assign them to a room (think of this as being sent to a table in a restaurant). The rooms hold a maximum of eight people - as more people join, more rooms are added.

After about ten to fifteen minutes the host will randomly assign everyone to different rooms. This random re-assignment will occur every ten to fifteen minutes for the rest of the party time. Sometimes there will be five or six in a room, sometimes three or four and occasionally there will be only two people together.

The idea is that all guests are learning how to get along together, introducing themselves, starting conversations, etc. If it doesn't work for you in one room it might in another.

Nobody is trapped in a room they are assigned to. If a guest isn't happy with the room they are in they can click a button to return to the reception area where the host will assign them to another room.

As this is a free, open invitation event we do expect a few weirdos and anti social people to appear. If this happens in your room, leave the room and report the person to the host - we have ways of making them disappear.
