5 Mile Hike to Celebrate George Washington's Birthday

Join the Naturalist and Historian of D&R Canal will be joined by the Historian of Washington Crossing State Park for a 5 mile hike on the towpath in celebration of George Washington's birthday. The interpretive staff will hopefully be able to answer all of your canal history, natural resources and Christmas Crossing questions you may have.

We will meet at the white historical house located at the south end of the parking lot of Washington Crossing State Park located along the Delaware River.After a brief introduction to the site of the famous Christmas Crossing we will begin our walk down to Scudders Falls and back. Since this is a long walk, we will try to keep a good healthy pace with a few stops along the way.
