Tuesday Climb at Outward Bound

Join us this Tuesday for a special outdoor climb at NYC's Outward Bound (http://www.nycoutwardbound.org/get-involved/want-to-climb/index.html). At 60 vertical feet, Outward Bound boasts the tallest climbing wall in the city. One of the nice things about Outward Bound is that it's beginner friendly, though the climbs can be intimidating for first-time climbers. Of course, even if you're more experienced, there's something for you too. Their 5.10's are stiff, and they're solid cruxes all the way up.

The cost is $25, and you can sign-up here (https://www.nycoutwardbound.org/get-involved/want-to-climb/want-to-climb-1.html). By signing up online, you will save a couple of bucks compared to paying at the door. Once you sign up, all gear is included. The staff there will even give you a belay if you need one.

Since it's outdoors, we'll have to keep an eye on the weather. So be ready to climb, and check the comments frequently!

When you arrive at the facility, look to the right of the building and there will be signs pointing to a door which will take you to the back of the building. That's where the wall is. See you there!
