2nd Friday - Valentines Day (White & Red)

LA's Most Exciting Ballroom Social

2nd Friday is an evening of Ballroom Dancing and a community of friends who enjoy good music, good dancing, and good company.

What to expect:
When you arrive at the studio (Hollywood Academy of Dance), please enter the studio from the back and proceed down the hallway to the ballroom, where a member of the event staff will accept your entrance fee and hosting fee (if you have reserved a Private host).
A complimentary group class will be taught from 7:30 to 8:00. Social dancing starts at 8:00 and runs until the end of the night at 10:30. We do allow our guests to bring their food and beverages if they like. We are not licensed to serve or sell either food or alcohol, but light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Hosting Options:
Two different kinds of professional hosts will present at this event:
1. Free General Hosts: JD Davis (the event organizer and LA's most requested professional dance host) and the Relevé General Hosts are easily identified by the feather pins they wear. These dancers circulate throughout the ballroom, dancing with all guests and answering any questions that arise.
3. Private hosting: Private hosting is hiring a professional dance host to dance with you and/or your party. Private hosting can run for the entire event or be limited to a specific timeframe, depending on the arrangements made in advance.
