Starting in a secluded village location, the first days beautiful walk will take in views over the Severn Estuary and Wales while hand railing Norman forts and deep valleys. The day will conclude with tents being pitched while bubbling stoves heat water for our evening camp food. This will all take place on the apex of a secluded "hidden hill" over looking valley life below.

Day two starts with breakfast around the tents followed by a walk up onto the high ground then into the valley town for a short rest and hot drinks. We then head up into the forested hilltops to follow long ascending and descending woodland trails, walking through thick forested tree lines and densely packed natural areas. The long loop finishes as we cross beautiful lowland fields returning back to our secluded village.

Overall Adventure (£185 per person)

I'm a beginner does that matter? - This winter wild camping adventure is aimed at those that have little, some or good experience in hiking and wild camping. Most importantly everyone has a thirst for getting into the greater outdoors and those looking for a unique and beautiful wild camping experience. Weather could be cold windy and maybe wet, it could also be clear, sunny and magical during the year. The attendee will be required to be flexible, positive attitude and carry their personal backpack equipment (sometimes heavy) over undulating Cotswolds for the duration of the weekend. Day hiking experience necessary.

• How far will we walk and how tough will it be? The whole two day route will consist 16 miles minimum of steady walking up and down sometimes steep gradients. We go slow, we start as a team and finish that way.

• Is there a deposit and what is the total cost? Yes, secure your place with a £60 deposit. Total cost will be £185 per person. Remaining balance of £125 to be paid 30 days before journey. Deposits are non-refundable, only transferable to Walk Wild walks, navigation workshops or weekends.

• Do i need my own tent, backpack and sleeping bag? No. Walk Wild has a selection of equipment at low cost to fill in the gaps you need equipment wise. Click here to see what you can hire. Limited, first come first served.

• What other kit will i need for the wild camping trip? You can view our full kit list here
