Traditional Tantra yoga is a very gentle and meditative class that teaches your whole body to meditate, to relax. Being very distinct from other styles like Vinyasa or Ashtanga, it guides you to slowly drift into a dreamlike state. During the practice the body relaxes while the mind becomes calm and blissful.
But why is it Tantra yoga?
What is you first association when you hear the word Tantra? Maybe it is something mystical, maybe it is something sexual? There as many definitions of Tantra, as there are Tantrics, which is very true in a way. However there is agreement over the fact that Tantra is a science of life. A philosophy that allows for a happy, meaningful and blissful life. We could even say Tantra is a software for you! Something that allows you to live it more fully more FREELY - like an update.
The beginning of this lifelong journey to freedom starts with releasing all the limitations of the body, of allowing it to be the self it wants to be.
Thats what the weekly yoga practice is about!
To be ok with not reaching your toes or being a total beginner. Tantra cares little about all these ideas of completion either with yourself, an image of yourself or your neighbour - its all vanity after all. All we care about is that you yourself are completely comfortable with yourself, nobody is as good as you at this, isn’t it so?
Above all it is blissfully pleasant. Feel warmly invited to come and relax the way you never did before - especially if you are used to “ sitting” meditation this class will give you a new perspective.
