We’re It Started With a Trip, a travel company for people in their thirties and forties who still want to explore the world, just without the chaos of their twenties.
We create small group trips that feel relaxed, well planned and genuinely fun, with people who get where you’re at in life.
These meet ups are our way of bringing that same energy home. A chance to meet new people, swap travel stories, find future trip buddies or simply have a nice time with a group that feels easy from the moment you sit down.
No awkward icebreakers. No pressure. Just good chat, good food and a community of people who love travel and connection as much as you do.
Come solo, bring a friend, either way you’ll be welcome. This is where the It Started With a Trip community comes together between trips - at the table, over a drink, over dinner, and in good company.

At The Table: Brunch Club is a relaxed weekend meet up for people in their thirties and forties who love travel, good food and conversations that start naturally, not with awkward small talk. Think easy brunch plates, coffee (or cocktails, no judgement), and a table of people who get where you’re at in life.
Come solo or bring a friend. Either way, you’ll end up chatting, laughing and wondering why making new friends as an adult isn’t always this simple.
You’ll meet our co-founders, Sam and Sophie, hear a bit about what we’ve been building at It Started With a Trip, and spend a couple of hours with people who feel a lot like the ones you want in your mates circle.
