Axe-citing Night at Axe & Ale!
Details
Ready to trade happy hour for hatchets? The 30s & 40s Thursday Collective is heading to Axe & Ale for a night of friendly competition, laughs, and maybe a little lumberjack swagger.
When: Thursday, Feb. 5 • 6:00 PM Where: Axe & Ale — 1624 S Lemay, Fort Collins, CO 80525 Website: https://theaxeandale.com/
What’s happening:
- We’ll kick things off with an axe-throwing tutorial led by a member of Axe & Ale’s staff so everyone feels confident and safe.
- Once we’ve all got our form down, we’ll throw a tournament — bracket-style or round-robin depending on the crew — with a fun prize for the champion (bragging rights included).
Cost & logistics:
- Price: $52 per person, to be paid to Axe & Ale when you arrive. This pays for the 90 min target rental and includes a 18% service charge.
- Axe & Ale has a full-service bar — bring your ID if you plan to grab a drink.
- The venue doesn’t serve food, but they do allow outside food. I’ll bring some snacks to share — feel free to bring something to add!
- I will be keeping an eye on the number of attendees in case I need to reserve more space.
A few friendly tips: arrive a little early to check in and pay, and wear closed-toe shoes for comfort and safety.
Come for the axes, stay for the laughs. Can’t wait to see who’s got the deadeye!
