Join us for a beautiful spring morning hike near Horsetooth! We’ll be there to soak in the views, chat with friends, and get some exercise in a relaxed setting. We’ll be hiking together as a group and expect to complete the hike in about 3 hours.

After the hike, we'll wrap up at Zwei Brewing for a beer and a bite to eat (food truck): 4612 S Mason Street, Ste 120, Fort Collins, CO 80525.

  • Where to meet: Trailhead at Horsetooth Mountain Parking Lot (I’ll be by the water fountains with a sign with the group’s name).
  • Where we’re hiking: Up close to Horsetooth Rock, then down Wathen Trail and back to the trailhead in a loop. See COTREX map below.
  • When: Sunday, 6/7. Hike begins at 8:40 a.m., so please arrive a few minutes early.
  • Cost: You’ll need a Larimer County Entrance Permit ($10 for a day pass if you don’t have an annual pass).
