Let’s kick off summer the right way—with fresh air, good food, and great company! Join us for a laid-back picnic at Stiglmeier Park.
🌿☀️ Bring your favorite snacks, drinks, or a dish to share, plus any lawn games you'd like! The park also has beautiful walking trails with scenic boardwalks that wind through the woods, so I highly recommend taking a stroll 🌿☀️ While there are boardwalks, some of the trails are dirt, so if there's any rain around that time, I recommend wearing sneakers and not flip flops.
According to the Town Code for Cheektowaga, anyone over the age of 21 can consume alcohol when picnicking at Stiglmeier Park during Park Hours. (https://tocny.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/SHELTER-PERMIT-POLICY-2026.pdf)
Since I am not a Cheektowaga resident, I cannot actually reserve a shelter. If someone is, connect with me, and we can look into reserving one. If not, we can set up somewhere the day of (whatever's available - picnic tables, etc.)
