Join me for some paddling fun and a delightful potluck picnic. I'll find a table that morning at area 2.
We'll start with a picnic brunch. I will not be grilling or doing anything fancy just keeping it simple. Afterwards, we'll go for a relaxing paddle along Lums pond for about 2 hours.
Bring a dish to share and if you want an adult beverage! Please post below what you’re bringing so we don't have 3 pasta salads. Drinks and ice don't count as a dish.
You can bring your own kayak or paddle board but rentals are available if needed (fcfs basis) plus you can also grab a canoe, paddle boat, or rowboat if that’s more your style!. The fee for the kayak rental is $10/hr . the in-state entrance fee is $4 and $8 for our if state. I believe you need cash.
Once you enter the park, follow the signs to Area 2 where the boat rentals are. You can’t see the office from the parking lot, but just follow the road towards the lake—it’s right there!
