Summer Gathering on the Water

Hi Everyone - First off, big thanks to all of you who came out to the last event, our biggest one yet! I am excited for more and to that end, again, thank you for your patience with me as I got our next book and event scheduled. It’s that exciting time of the year when we have an overwhelming amount to fantastic opportunities for adventure out our doorsteps and I for one have certainly been partaking. It’s also a great time of the year to remind ourselves that we don’t always have to have big adventures planned, being present in Bellingham’s beauty is perfect in itself!

Now, to the good part… this is ending up like one of those recipe blog posts where all you want is the recipe, but you have to read a novella first… I digress.

Our next book was suggested by one of our own, and looks to be a really interesting read on a topic we’re all too familiar with: On Our Best Behavior: The Seven Deadly Sins and the Price Women Pay to Be Good by Elise Loehnen.

Should be some really interesting discussion stemming from this one! As an ode to the nice weather, our next gathering will be en plein air in Bellingham’s Boulevard Park. Bring some snacks, beverages, and share a blanket while we chat and enjoy a summer evening. I’ll keep tabs on the weather and update everyone as we get closer to the event if we need a new plan.
