What we’re about
This is a group for all of those 30's singles who live, party or play in midtown Toronto! You are past the kiddie club scene but you're not ready for the Chick 'n Deli (people's chicken) yet! We're looking for all people who like fine dining (and sometimes not-so-fine), pubs, clubs, outdoor recreational activities and all the other things midtown has to offer. And of course meeting new people! Generally, activities will be centered on the Yonge & Eglinton area but there will definitely be excursions to others parts of midtown and the city! Suggestions will be welcome. Meetup attendance is free! The organizers subsidize the group costs - our reward is you showing up.
IMPORTANT - General Guidelines for membership - you must fulfill these requirements:
1) Have a profile picture of you (a fully shaded face or extremely in the distant background does not count - hey you're here to meet people, what do you have to hide?). It does not need to be your main picture however.
2) Be between the ages of 30-39. And
3) Live in midtown - York Mills to Bloor / Pape-Laird to Black Creek Dr.
Exceptions: We will make exceptions for people who are outside these parameters and are committed to being active members of the group (ie. show up once every other month at a minimum). If you fall outside of the 3 points, it helps to make your case upon application for membership.
Our commitment to you:
We will strive to have at least 2 meetups per month. Sometimes we will fail but the effort will be made (It's impossible in December).
Rules:
We don't have too many! You pay for your own cover, food and drinks just like normal.
