Virtual Photo Editing Class - Session 3 - Adobe Camera Raw/Lightroom Part 2

The objective of this class is to teach students how to utilize Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom's Develop Module to demonstrate the editing power of these programs when working with RAW image files.

It is recommended that you sign up for both parts of this class to get the most out of the instruction.

In this class we will dive deep into the tools used in both programs to edit RAW images. Adobe Camera Raw, which is part of Photoshop, and the Develop Module in Lightoom are almost exactly the same since they use the identical processing engine.

You will learn how to:

Make basic image adjustments.
Use the graduated filter, radial filter, and various fix tools (spot removal tool, crop tool, adjustment brush, etc.).
Apply curve, lens correction, HSL and other adjustments.
Work with multiple files.
Create and utilize presets and snapshots.

Each student is given a collection of photographs that are used to demonstrate various tools. Everyone works together on the same photos as instruction is given in order to maximize the learning process.

You will need the latest versions of Photoshop CC , Lightroom Classic, Camera Raw and Bridge (Photoshop Elements is not taught in this class). Use of a mouse is highly recommended. You can download a trial version of the programs at www.adobe.com (http://www.adobe.com/). Students should also possess a strong set of basic computer skills.
