On February 18, 2019 BaFin approved the first German STO (Security Token Offering) leaving the markets open for further, now regulated form of ICOs – Security Token Offerings. STOs would allow company tokens to finally establish themselves in the international capital markets, with professional investors in particular taking the lead in investing in promising projects and start-ups.

Here is the current line-up of the upcoming speakers (will be updated over time):

(1) Jerome de Tychey, Executive Director, ConsenSys Solutions

Jerome is executive director at ConsenSys Solutions which helps organizations across the globe build, test, and deploy public and private blockchain applications. He has a background in economics and used to be an assistant professor at Sorbonne and Paris Dauphine. He jumped into the blockchain space in 2013 and has a particular interest in cryptoeconomics and mining.

(2) Phong Dao, CEO and Co-Founder, Agora Innovation
Phong is Co-Founder and CEO of Agora Innovation that develops the platform-independent software solution IVE.ONE (Identity Verification Engine), which enables regulated and legally compliant security token transactions in different countries.

(3) Dr. Matthias Hirtschulz, Senior Manager, d-fine GmbH

Dr. Matthias Hirtschulz is a theoretical physicist by education and Senior Manager with d-fine. He heads the blockchain activities of d-fine and drives blockchain-related projects for large and small clients. Matthias has a vast experience in different kind of blockchain projects from enterprise blockchain, digital asset market infrastructures to initial coin offerings.

(4) Patrick Lowry, CEO and Managing Partner, ICONIQ Holding

Patrick Lowry is the CEO and a Managing Partner of Iconiq Holding, a global digital asset management firm. Iconiq Holding launched Iconiq Lab in early 2017, the world's first decentralized venture capital group, and a series of digital asset index funds under the Iconiq Funds brand, supported by the AMaaS ecosystem.
