Tarot 101 on Barton Creek

Details

Want to learn more about tarot AND explore one of Austin's most treasured trails?

Each month, tarot teacher and outdoor enthusiast Addie Broyles leads a 2-hour hike on a local trail, such as the Bull Creek or Barton Creek greenbelts, where we'll talk about tarot and learn how to connect them to what we're seeing on the hike.

The hikes take place at different trails around Austin each month, and the subject matter will evolve from hike to hike, with most hikes having a specific theme: ie, Minor Arcana, Major Arcana, tarot history.

During these 2- to 4-mile hikes, we will cover tarot basics and stop to pull cards at various spots along the trail, where we can explore the meanings of the cards and how we can connect them to nature.

Weather permitting, we can swim at the creek during the warm weather months.
