Register at HiveBio.org for Swarm, the Pacific Northwest’s first annual conference for makerspace organizers. Swarm is an all-day free conference held at HiveBio Community Lab with the purpose of bringing together the makerspaces, hackerspaces, and tool libraries in the PNW. The conference will feature a series of lightning talks, vendor booths from local companies with an interest in makerspaces, a round table discussion, and more!

The goal of Swarm is to bring together the PNW maker organizations to discuss ways in which our organizations can support one another and share resources. We believe that working together will increase membership, give our organizations access to resources that we wouldn’t have otherwise, and build a mutually beneficial collective . The main feature of our event, the makerspace round table discussion, will focus on how such a relationship may work. All participating organizations will have a seat at the table and participate in the discussion.
