ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! An Introduction to Antibodies

Its the Zombie Apocalypse! We are the last people left in Seattle and after fleeing the city have decided to find refuge at HiveBio. Cut up, tired and scared for our lives we decided to treat our wounds and figure out which of us have been infected. Using an ELISA (antibody test) targeted towards zombie virus antibodies, we can find out who will become a zombie and which one of us infected the rest of our group.

People that attend this class should expect to receive a beginners level introduction into the science of zombies, viruses, our immune system, and ELISA.

There will also be an antibody model arts and crafts portion at the end.

This class is presented by Regina Wu, Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Biology, SEP Assistant at the Fred Hutchinson Research Institute, and certified Zombie Expert.

The cost of the class is $25 per person.

This class is recommended for students at least 12 years of age.
