Speed Networking | Meet and Exchange Details with 5-10 Likeminded Professionals

This meetup is for current or aspiring professionals and/or business-people.

Essentially this meetup is about building relationships with new likeminded people in an efficient way.

The way it works is as follows...

1. We will wait 15 minutes for people to show up and get the conversation flowing as a group... everyone will get a name-tag
2. At 5.45pm the speed-networking will begin and there will be 5-10 x "5-10 minute rounds" (depending on how many people show up) where you will talk to someone new
3. Then when the timer goes off I will ring the bell and you will mingle with someone new. If there's fewer people the rounds will be longer but overall the speed-networking will take 1-hour!
4. Afterwards there will be a 15-minute unstructured opportunity to talk as a group, pair-off, leave together or whatever happens is fine! I will be there until around 7pm and after that the meetup will officially finish!

It will be held in the back-room of Melbourne Central Lion where there will be a few big and small tables as well as standing room at the bar.

We chose this venue to make it accessible to people from all over Melbourne.

We want to maintain a good relationship with the management of this venue so please at least buy a drink... they have coffee and tea if you don't want to drink alcohol.

The dress code is SMART OR BUSINESS CASUAL.
