Berlin Ableton User Group is back! This meetup is open to producers, songwriters, DJs, and musicians of all types and proficiency levels who use Ableton and are looking to exchange ideas, network, meet like-minded producers, and learn new tips and tricks from our presenters and fellow participants.
This month, 343 Labs instructor Matthew Martinez will look at optimizing low-end for the dance floor. Ever struggled to get your kick and bass to balance, or wondered how to get you low frequencies to compete side-by-side with other tracks in the club? This masterclass will look at workflows for getting bass that bumps on big speakers.
About the artist:
Matthew Martinez is a producer, DJ, and educator with nearly a decade of teaching experience and over 20 years of musicianship. Born in the United States and now based in Berlin, Matthew continues to inspire the next generation of electronic music producers as both an artist and educator. He is graduate of Berklee College of Music with a bachelor’s in Electronic Production & Design and a master’s in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation.Known by his artist moniker Sentient Number Six, he has released music with respected international psytrance collectives like Post-Modern Music and Gaggalacka, with one of his tracks breaking into Beatport’s top 100 releases of the genre. His electrifying performances have captivated audiences at clubs and festivals around the world, and he remains active in the global psychedelic trance scene.

Join MIN t, Berlin-based music producer, songwriter, and singer, for an in-depth workshop where she shares her creative process from the very first idea to a finished album.
Workshop highlights:
- Production drafts: Developing song structure, finding matching sounds, and keeping workflow fast and focused.
- Melodies and vocal harmonies: Crafting musical and vocal elements while planning for live performance possibilities.
- Mixing on the go: Streamlining the mixing process without losing creative momentum.
- Album vision: Maintaining cohesion across an entire project and keeping every track aligned with the bigger picture.
MIN t will use her own productions as examples, showing every stage of the creative process and sharing practical tips for independently releasing an album while staying true to your vision.
About the artist:
MIN t is a versatile and pioneering artist, combining the roles of music producer, songwriter, and singer. Her sound blends energetic electro with R’n’B, pop, neo-soul, and jazz, reflecting her drive to constantly innovate and express herself beyond genre boundaries. Martyna is the first Polish woman ever mentored by Prince’s legendary sound producer Susan Rogers, thanks to a scholarship for outstanding female talent at Berklee College of Music.
