343 Labs NYC hosts an intimate Track Feedback Session for producers of all skill-levels and genres to share their music and get feedback from professionals and peers. The event is also a great way to meet like-minded producers, hear new and exciting music, and check out the facilities at 343 Labs. Feel free to bring a snack and drink for yourself or to share.

Guidelines:

• Space is limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis, so sign up early to ensure getting a spot.
• It is preferred you bring your laptop with a project file in your DAW if you would like any feedback on arrangement, mixing, structure, etc.
• Feedback lengths will depend on the number of signups with an average of 10 minutes per person.
• Tracks don’t have to be “finished” and can be works in progress.
• Feel free to bring a drink or snack (BYOB).

Girlie Pop Production Carousel — Free Workshop with RSVP
Presented by WMN NYC x 343 Labs. Open to the WMN community — women, gender-expansive folks, and allies.

This will be an interactive music production event with a maximum of 20 participants. Each participant will bring their own laptop with Ableton installed and should have basic production skills in the software.

Participants will be divided into groups of four. Each group will rotate between workstations every 10–15 minutes, adding new musical elements (e.g., bassline, drums, chords, etc.) to different sessions. By the end of the carousel, each track should have 8–16 bars with multiple elements forming a short, collaborative song. Participants will export their tracks at the end and share their creations with the group.

This event requires a set number of participants, so please only register if you can confirm your attendance.

Join us for a free music production masterclass and 343 Labs Open House. In this masterclass, 343 Labs instructor Great Dane works with 343 Labs alumni to breakdown their track and explore unique workflow in Ableton Live. Learn some new music production techniques that will make your music stand out.

During the event, 343 Labs will be opening its doors for an Open House, where attendees can tour the facilities, learn about 343 Labs courses, and meet some of the instructors. This is a great way to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs, meet fellow producers, and ask any questions you may have about our school.

About the Instructor:

Great Dane is an artist and producer originally from Orange County, California, now based in Brooklyn, New York. With a taste for independent hip-hop and an ear for sticky beats, Great Dane has crafted a unique sound that blends electronic music, hip-hop, and experimental beats.

As a co-founder of the influential collective and label TeamSupreme, Great Dane has been a significant figure in shaping the beat scene. His innovative productions and dynamic live performances have garnered him a dedicated following and critical acclaim.

With a discography that showcases his evolution as an artist, Great Dane continues to push creative boundaries and deliver fresh, exciting music to his audience.

The Chop Shop Sample Challenge, hosted by Great Dane, is a remix competition and live event. This month it will be held at Soundcloud, 2 Gansevoort St, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10014.

The event takes place on November 14 from 7-10 PM.

Participants can find the stems and submit their beats, receive feedback from special guest judges, and win free promo.

Highlights of the event include feedback and judging sessions and the compilation of winning beats into a mixtape on 343 Labs’ SoundCloud page. This event is open to all members of the 343 Labs community.
