ABOUT
We will come together for a variety of outings and get togethers that bring us happiness and joy. Hiking, walks, and other outdoor activities for our body. Historical / scientific sightseeing and related discussions for our minds. Social gatherings such as brunches, board games, dinners, and happy hours for our spirits.
There are many exceptional sights and experiences in and around the DMV. Let us come together with positivity that embrace these and one another.
POLICIES
Group participation relies on respectful adherence to RSVP / respectful code of conduct policies, culture fit, healthy boundaries, and active engagement. Lack of appreciation or entitlement towards members / organizers is not acceptable.
Given the unique times we are in, this group will maintain a culture of cohesiveness and compassion. In order to maintain active engagement, non-divisiveness is essential.
We all contribute to maintaining our positive group dynamic. Organizers spend several hundred dollars to manage, in addition to the energy required. Therefore, prior to expressing otherwise, we suggest managing / being responsibly active to experience all logistics and effort required. This group maintains the same at will preference that members have with their groups / events.
The group, organizers, and members do not incur any liability. Please consult medical / professionals as appropriate for participation in activities.

Lake Needwood has an enjoyable and accessible boat center for us to enjoy. After boating, we will eat at yummy Villa Maya Mexican located just a few miles away.

Boat Rental Fees
$15.00 per / hour for Kayaks, Canoes, and Rowboats
$12.00 per /half-hour for Pedal Boats
$55.00 for a full day’s rental for any boat (except Pedal Boats)Your Own Boat
Daily Permits: Must be purchased online on THE DAY OF your trip. An electronic or print copy of your receipt will serve as your permit. Permits may also be purchased at the boathouse during normal operating hour.Looking forward to it!
