Bonus Boardgame Day

This year, March brings a special kind of madness! Instead of basketball, brackets and buzzers, let's tumble headfirst down the rabbit hole into an Alice in Wonderland-themed day of boardgames. Strategies will be strange, alliances may wobble, and nothing will be quite as expected.

🎩 Featured Game: Wonderland’s War (~3½ to 4 hours, max 5 players)
Our inspo for the day is this strategic, "clash of characters" adventure, where players choose a faction, rally their forces, and wage war across Wonderland. Gameplay blends bag-building, area control, and gloriously unpredictable conflict.

Wonderland's War is a long game (~3½ to 4 hours) with limited seating (capped at 5 players). If this featured game doesn't sound like your cup of tea, no worries, there will be plenty of other board games going on, with no sign-up required. Details below.

Seats will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, in the order that comments are received. No "plus ones," please. The Queen (me) will confirm seats by replying in the comments. As soon as the game fills, additional “WW” comments will become alternates.

🐰Sign-up Deadline
Don't be late for this very important date! All sign-ups must be declared by Wednesday, March 25 at 11:59 PM. Once the clock strikes midnight, the guest list is sealed.

👑Policies: Backing Out and No Show
Please be thoughtful and responsible when signing up to play Wonderland's War. The war councils of Wonderland depend on it, and the Queen (me) is not known for leniency!

🌹Here's the decree:

• Before the March 25 deadline, backing out of your confirmed seat to play Wonderland's War is completely fine. Step away freely, and your seat automatically passes to the next brave soul on the alternate list. If you cannot be an alternate, please be sure to rescind your comment before March 25!
• After March 25, backing out of your confirmed Wonderland's War seat (or alternate seat) will be treated as a no-show! That means group no-show rules may apply and the Queen may declare, "Off with your head!"

🫖Once again, if the featured game doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, no worries! There will be plenty of other board games happening, with no sign-ups required… and none of the rules that might provoke the Queen’s fiery temper or summon her card soldiers. Simply come join the curious, whimsical fun and friends for a day of boardgaming!
