We are delighted to be returning to The Port Royal (a short walk down-stream from Exe Bridges) again in support their acceptance of Bitcoin. For those interested in trying mobile payments but do not own any bitcoin or a mobile wallet, please feel most welcome to contact us, or just turn up, so that we can arrange installation - an android smartphone is a prerequisite. Installation is via the Google Play store which will download a free and lightweight app that and requires NO special permissions. You'll be up and running in seconds.

As an incentive to experience this new technology first-hand, a limited number of students will receive a free mBTC - approximate value is £3.50 (GBP). Eligibility is subject to the individual showing a valid NUS/student ID card and having become a member of this group. The later is free and the mBTC is be enough to buy a drink at the bar :-D
