Beyond Small Talk at the 590 Madison Ave Atrium

Let's meet at our alternate rainy/cold weather location, the atrium at 590 Madison Ave. They don't condition the air in the atrium between 45 F and 90 F but that it is likely to be warmer than outside.

Please note that this is not a singles meetup or a dating meetup. The focus is to create platonic friendships. Members who treat it like a dating activity will be asked not to return.

We will split into groups of 4 and spend 30 minutes asking each other questions from the set below, taking turns with who goes first on each question.

After 30 minutes we will split into groups of 8 and then introduce one of our new friends to the group.

And then we will just hang out for the next hour and a half or so.

Ask in any order:
-For what in your life do you feel most grateful?
-Name three things you and your group members appear to have in common.
-Take four minutes and tell your group your life story in as much detail as possible.
-If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?
-If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?
-Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?
-Would you like to be famous? In what way?
-Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?
-What would constitute a “perfect” day for you?
-When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?
-If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which
would you want?
