Cyber Skills Bootcamp

This free (to you) one-day course is designed for students who want to begin a career in cybersecurity by preparing the student to enter our 4-week Cyber Boot Camp. Students will be introduced to understanding the web, basic shell commands, pki, and learning how to spot social engineering. By the end of the course, the student will have a basic understanding of the basic cybersecurity and technical skills needed to succeed in the cybersecurity field.

Prerequisites:
Access to a computer running a current operating system
Basic self-learning and problem-solving skills
Computer File Management

Program Objectives:
This course covers the following modules:

Anatomy of web requests
Work with Linux command line
Assymetric Encryption / Public Key Infrastructure
Recognizing social engineering attacks
