Going Wild on the Urban Edge with Mary Forgione
Details
L.A.'s outdoors scene isn't your typical nature experience. You can hike in nearby forests and deserts, but also take an urban stroll along Wilshire Boulevard or bird-watch at fake wetlands in South Central. The COVID-19 pandemic pushed many Angelenos to awaken to the wild around them. Mary Forgione, Sierra Club leader and LA TIMES outdoors writer, will talk about expanding our thoughts of nature -- and why some of our wildest moments may be in our own backyard (and that's a good thing). Join us!
